Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Help to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- answering phones taking food orders
- Ringing up customers orders
- Customer service
- Light prep work
- Some dish cleaning
- Operate the Aloha and Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices at all times
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Culinary experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
