Job Summary
As a Custodian & Facilities Maintenance team member, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our 32,000-square-foot assembly facility. This includes ensuring that the workspace is safe, clean, and presentable, as well as maintaining the facility's grounds. You will need to be attentive to detail when working around high-value equipment and follow a strict cleaning and maintenance schedule.
Responsibilities
Custodial Duties:
- Maintain concrete floors by sweeping, mopping, and debris removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms on a strict schedule, ensuring they are stocked and presentable.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility.
- Clean and organize common areas, such as break rooms and office spaces.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Facilities Maintenance Duties:
- Mow the lawn and maintain the landscaped areas around the facility.
- Remove debris from outdoor spaces, including pathways, parking lots, and entryways.
- Ensure the building exterior is clean and presentable.
- Report and assist in addressing any major landscaping or exterior maintenance issues.

Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or facilities maintenance experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working near sensitive and expensive equipment.
- Ability to follow and adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Experience operating basic landscaping tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers).
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- No higher education required.
- Availability to work a consistent 40-hour schedule, Monday through Friday.
