Job Overview
Lubbock General Contractors is hiring a proactive, organized, and tech-savvy team member to
manage customer outreach, appointment scheduling, administrative tasks, and social media
presence. This hybrid role includes 4 hours/day of active work (in-office by default) and 4
hours/day of flexible, on-call availability. The core objective is to improve the experience of every
customer and lead — keeping them informed, engaged, and supported throughout the service
process, while also driving new business through referrals and reviews.

Duties & Responsibilities
Active Work (4 hours/day)

Outreach to existing and past customers via call, text, or email using provided scripts
●
Promote referral program ($1,500 Spring Bonus)
●
Request positive reviews from satisfied clients
●
Address and resolve customer complaints or confusion
●
Schedule and confirm appointments for solar, lawn care, fencing, and other services
●
Maintain and update:

Google Calendar – for job coordination, customer appointments, and field team
sync
○
Google Sheets – for tracking outreach, lead activity, scheduling, and follow-ups

Draft and schedule 2–3 social media posts per week per platform, including:

YouTube Shorts (when video is available)

Nextdoor○
Google Business Profile
On-Call Availability (4 hours/day)

Respond to all incoming communication within the following standards:

Answer phone calls live (no missed calls)
○
Respond to texts, emails, and leads within 15 minutes
On-call time is reactive, not active — if no one contacts you, no work is expected
If on-call activity exceeds 30 minutes of continuous work, time is paid at $15/hour
(prorated)
This period also includes monitoring and moderating social media, such as:

Responding to comments, questions, or messages
○
Escalating issues or removing inappropriate content
○
Estimated 1 hour/day or less, distributed throughout the on-call window

Compensation:
$100/day guaranteed base pay for completing the full shift (4 active + 4 on-call)
$15/hour for active time beyond 30 minutes during on-call hours, logged and added to daily pay.
