As a Customer Service Representative in Trade Operations at MacroSource, you'll play a vital role in facilitating the purchase and sale of fertilizer. Your tasks will include inputting transactions into the system, troubleshooting concerns on various transactions and shipments, liaising with customers and suppliers, and monitoring contract balances and accruals. You'll also have the opportunity to work on special projects and provide solutions to complex issues. Additionally, you'll handle calls to/from customers, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with the Trade Operations Manager and Sales Managers to foster a strong business partnership.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of invoicing, warehouse, and logistic functions.
- Learn and proficiently utilize all applicable financial and operations systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport and addressing customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Cultivate a team-oriented environment within the department and encourage collaboration across all company departments.
- Proactively identify productivity opportunities and drive them to resolution, while communicating successes to the Trade Operations Manager and the management team.
- Perform additional general administrative duties as assigned.
- At least one year of experience in a wholesale distribution environment or 4+ years in a business environment preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Collaborative mindset with a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for effective communication.
- Knowledge of basic general ledger accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
This position is onsite at our Savannah, Georgia Skidaway Island Corporate Headquarters, Monday-Friday, with flexible hours from 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm.
