Cyber Compliance (ACAS) Analyst

Functional duties include:
- Install, configure, and maintain the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) framework and associated product suites.
- Assist with major version upgrades of ACAS servers and clients.
- Ensure the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.
- Perform periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system, and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance.
- Communicate alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications, and operating systems.
- Work with security engineering team to integrate new capabilities, plan lifecycle replacements, and provide input into security architecture roadmaps.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Prepare incident reports of analysis methodology and results.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting ACAS, preferably in a federal or defense IT environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications preferred (such as Security+, GSEC, etc.) and/or other certifications such as CEH, CISSP, etc.
- Strong proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS, Nessus, etc.) and associated reporting dashboards.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM technologies.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments, analyzing scan results, and coordinating remediation with system owners.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments, including system hardening and patch management processes.
