PURPOSE
The AMS/ACAS Entry Support Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the timely and accurate transmission of Advance Cargo Information under ACAS (Air Cargo Advance Screening) and AMS (Automated Manifest System) compliance standards. This position ensures proper documentation flow between the company and its clients, supports billing activities, and serves as a key communicator for operational needs related to air cargo filings.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and review ACAS documentation submitted by customers.
- Upload ACAS manifests to the appropriate system in compliance with customs regulations.
- Provide confirmation of successful filings and communicate any discrepancies or errors.
- Maintain clear and professional correspondence with customers via company email regarding ACAS-related inquiries and issues.
- Assist in resolving questions related to manifest requirements and filing outcomes.
- Accurately record billing summaries at the predetermined customer rates.
- Coordinate with the ELC team to ensure invoice finalization and billing accuracy.
- Remain adaptable to evolving procedures and responsibilities due to changes in business operations or regulatory updates.
- Other duties may be assigned by management due to business change or business need.
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
Technical and Technology Skills.
- Understand how air cargo manifests are submitted in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection standards.
- Ability to evaluate documentation, detect inconsistencies, and enter data without errors.
- Accurately recording billing information and calculating charges based on customer agreements.
- Email proficiency & etiquette Comfortable composing clear, professional emails for customer communication.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and templates to log billing details and manage documentation (Excel)
Business
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation, Business Administration, or related and equivalent experience of at least one (1) year.
- Thorough understanding of air shipment documentation process, a plus
- Demonstrated critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks, and identifying alternative solutions or approaches
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to maintain clear logs of filings and billing summaries for internal tracking and audits.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with evening and weekend work
