At Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks, we’re not just building gunstocks — we’re helping firearm owners create something personal, functional, and one-of-a-kind. We’re looking for a hands-on Data Administrator to take ownership of our data environment, manage workstations, and keep our internal systems running smoothly.
If you love turning chaos into clarity and are ready to make a real operational impact, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the integrity and accuracy of data across multiple platforms, from creation to audits to reporting.
- Support production and office environments by setting up and maintaining workstations and hardware.
- Manage incoming help tickets and ensure timely, thoughtful resolution to issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows and document key processes.
- Monitor trends in technical issues and propose proactive solutions to improve efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing data systems, technical documentation, and help desk processes.
- Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting workstation hardware in both production and office settings.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook to manage and report on data tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to process and follow-through.
- Strong communication skills: able to translate technical details to non-technical teammates.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience improving workflows or creating technical processes from scratch.
- Exposure to project or people management in data-related environments.
- A little coding know-how (HTML, CSS, or similar) for basic automation or troubleshooting.
Why Join Boyds?
- Salary: $45,000 – $52,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Full-Time; Monday – Friday (8:00a - 4:30p).
- Benefits: Health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
- Impact: Help build the foundation of our data systems and support a team that values efficiency, clarity, and continuous improvement.
- Growth Path: As we grow, future roles like Senior Data Administrator & Data Systems Lead may be established. This role offers a path to those opportunities through continued skill development.
If you’re ready to own your work, support a team that depends on clean, accurate data, and grow in a role with real influence — we’d love to meet you!
