Job Scope:
As a member of the BRC Molding Team, the Molding Technician will assist the molding department to produce high-quality rubber products. This position requires reading work instructions to correctly operate the molding machines to produce rubber parts, as well as quality inspecting parts to ensure only high-quality products are sent to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate multiple hydraulic ovens to produce custom rubber parts
- Quality inspects rubber parts for defects and other cosmetic issues
- Read work orders to determine products specifications or materials requirements
- Utilize hand tools to help with inserting and removing parts
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas using carts
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Job Skills:
- Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
- Multi-tasking
- Independent thinking with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan ahead
- Read and follow written work instructions
- Basic math (adding, subtracting, using calculator)
- Mechanical skills a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
