We’re seeking an experienced Dental Office Business Administrator who thrives in a leadership role, understands the intricacies of dental operations, and can elevate both team performance and patient experience. This is not a front desk job—it’s a critical operations role for someone ready to lead, streamline, and grow.
What You'll Own
Patient Experience & Front Desk Leadership
- Greet and guide patients with professionalism and empathy
- Manage schedules, provider calendars, and appointment flow
- Oversee insurance verification, financial transactions, and follow-ups
- Maintain accuracy in patient records and communication
Team & Administrative Operations
- Coordinate daily workflows and provider productivity
- Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and efficient systems
- Lead staff huddles, support onboarding, and foster team morale
- Keep supplies, equipment, and office logistics running seamlessly
Business & Financial Management
- Track budgets, payroll support, and key operational metrics
- Manage insurance claims, billing, and collections cycles
- Implement efficiencies to enhance profitability and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with leadership on business growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office (admin or clinical)
- Deep knowledge of front office operations, insurance billing, and patient flow
- Confident leadership with a track record of team coordination
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
Preferred but Not Required
- Clinical experience (as a hygienist or dental assistant)
- Previous team management or training responsibilities
- Comfort creating and improving systems and processes
