Freightliner of Hartford is seeking out Engine Overhaul and Heavy Engine Repair Technicians to fill openings at our designated Engine Center. Freightliner of Hartford is a family owned and operated company where our employees come first. Responsibilities include the following:
- Disassembly, Inspection, and Rebuilding of Diesel Engines
- Electronic and Mechanical Engine Diagnostics using Detroit, Cummins, CAT, and Navistar Software
- Test, Measure, Adjust, and Analyze all Engine Components
- Perform Failure Analysis to determine cause of failure following manufacture specific guidelines
- Communicate written and verbally between service writers, parts personnel, and direct manager
- Practice Safe and Clean working environment
