Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and well-being.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and supervision to residents in a safe, respectful, and supportive manner.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Administer medications and document according to agency policy (if certified).
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary needs.
- Support individuals in participating in recreational, social, and community-based activities.
- Transport residents to appointments, outings, or activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
- Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and service providers.
- Report health or behavioral concerns promptly to the supervisor or nurse.
- Uphold the rights, dignity, and confidentiality of each resident.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and medication administration is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
