Compensation Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Admissions, you’ll be at the forefront of connecting individuals and families to compassionate, high-quality care. Your days will be filled with meaningful work that combines strategy, relationship building, and a commitment to excellence.
- Lead with Insight: Monitor and analyze referral, admission, and discharge trends to guide strategy and improve outcomes.
- Be the Go-To Liaison: Build strong, collaborative relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, and other referral sources to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Drive Growth: Develop and execute a targeted marketing and outreach plan that strengthens partnerships with hospitals and referral networks.
- Assess with Purpose: Review clinical records and collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate and timely admissions.
- Own the Process: Manage the admissions process from start to finish—including completion of contracts, insurance verification, and authorization approvals.
- Spot Opportunities: Identify new referral partnerships and market expansion opportunities to support census goals.
- Engage the Community: Plan and execute impactful marketing events that showcase the community and build brand visibility.
- Support the Vision: Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget to align with organizational goals.
- Lead the Team: Supervise and support the Admissions Coordinator to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all new residents and families.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in SNF with leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care , etc.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; compassionate approach to patient and family needs
- Technical: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
