Our location in Austin, TX currently has an opportunity for a Director of Marketing and Commercial Excellence to oversee the Canada and Latin America Regions for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business. This leader will manage the CRM division’s Marketing and Commercial Excellence functions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead the CALA Marketing and Education team:

  • Leadership of CRM marketing strategies CALA
  • Leadership of Marketing Communication CALA
  • Leadership of Education and Training strategies and activities.
  • Manage product life cycle & product line profitability effectively.
  • Grow market via identifying new segments and product opportunities.
  • Accountable for achieving CALA CRM business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership in product management and marketing activities to countries/regions.
  • Collaborate closely with Affiliate GM’s and Marketing leaders to ensure CALA and Global designed programs and initiatives fulfil local and Global needs.
  • Define and lead initiatives for non-physician stakeholders, including patients, insurance companies, and administrators.
  • Define & decide on measurable priorities and focus.
  • Seek alignment with business unit objectives and programs.
  • Represents and advocates ‘HV- LV -ICM & Aveir’ interest of CALA to the Division
  • Creates a culture around “world class” leadership” at CRM and corporation and drives sustainable leadership.
  • Contribute to product related planning processes, lead the aggregation if necessary.
  • Protect/ Strengthen CRM Brand
  • Ensure compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure.
  • Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences according to CRM requirement.
  • Coordinate best practice sharing for areas of responsibility within CALA.

Lead the CALA Commercial Excellence team:

  • Set-up and implementation of multi-channel strategy based on customer insights and market trends in the device industry in alignment with the marketing strategy and company objectives.
  • Develop and drive implementation of sales force effectiveness (SFE) and ensure traction across all CALA countries
  • Develop overall management of CALA Commercial Excellence process ensuring modules are delivered to the timelines planned and that the project objectives are met
  • Design and Implement innovative strategies through the development of Business Solutions concept that maximize customer access to Abbott CRM portfolio of products.
  • Reporting and analysis of all aspects of sales operations, gained market experience and knowledge to make recommendations that impact the Area commercial strategy.
  • Manage/lead key cross-functional projects to improve operational excellence and productivity
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing leadership of the Area to align supportive functions and internal systems to CRM activities, including:
  • SF (Sales force) strategy (Geographical deployment, training, etc) implementation progress and sales force preparedness
  • training needs and Sales force assessment processes and metrics (KPI's)
  • increasing efficiency or increasing product sales and productivity or value to customers.

The base pay for this position is $147,300.00 – $294,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
