POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Membership Services and Communications plays a critical role in advancing the mission of OneHealth Nebraska – Supporting and Growing Independent Medicine. This role oversees the full membership journey, from prospect engagement and introductory meetings to onboarding, engagement tracking, and long-term relationship development. The Director will lead the strategic development and execution of an external communications strategy to enhance visibility, strengthen awareness and build community partnerships. The Director also manages the internal communications strategy that keeps clinics, staff and board leadership aligned and engaged.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
· Primary contact for new member engagement: prospecting, coordinating and presenting OneHealth Nebraska sales pitch. Provide prompt, professional member support.
· Manage new member onboarding, facilitate implementation of OneHealth services, track clinic information, and share updates with OneHealth staff.
· Maintain accurate membership records for all clinics and providers, ensuring information is up to date across all platforms.
· Coordinate and execute OneHealth programs and events, including monthly Office Administrator meetings, the Annual Meeting, lecture series, managing all aspects from program development and speaker acquisition to scheduling and promotion.
· Gather and respond to member feedback to ensure exceptional member service. Communicate with OneHealth staff and facilitate process improvement as needed.
· Prospect, assess, and onboard vendors that provide solutions for members, collaborate with OneHealth staff, and promote the Preferred Vendor Program to the membership.
COMMUNICATIONS
· Create and manage an external communications strategy that raises OneHealth’s profile, drives awareness to its programs, and builds strategic community partnerships.
· Manage the production of OneHealth’s annual physician directory, including design, solicitation of content from members, ensure accuracy, manage project deadlines and oversee distribution.
· Manage the day-to-day operations of OneHealth’s website, ensure for content accuracy and compliance.
· Develop strategic web copy to enhance engagement for members, employers, partners and community.
· Develop strategies for OneHealth’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Research, recommend and implement social media campaigns. Monitor social media channels to foster positive engagement and respond to comments and messages.
· Manage the ongoing creation, updates, and improvements of marketing materials across print and digital channels (e.g., monthly newsletter, sales deck, welcome packet, event flyers).
· Coordinate the production of content, including photos, videos and graphics for OneHealth marketing materials and digital channels.
· Oversee marketing budget as assigned, tracking expenses and optimizing resources.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain and uphold OneHealth’s brand standards in all marketing, digital and print materials.
· Continuously build knowledge of healthcare operations, health insurance, payer contracting and clinic management to create effective promotional and digital content.
· Attend monthly board meetings. Accurately record and distribute meeting minutes.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, public relations, journalism, or equivalent degree or experience.
· 3-5 years in digital communications and/or marketing.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., newsletter platforms, Adobe InDesign, Canva, WordPress).
· Strong organizational, problem-solving and project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and communications.
COMPENSATION
· Compensation includes base salary plus potential performance-based bonus.
LOCATION & SCHEDULE
· The office is based in Lincoln, NE.
· Hybrid work environment (mix of office and remote, schedule negotiable).

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
