Folklore Spa is a new sanctuary of relaxation, wellness, and rejuvenation, offering thoughtfully curated treatments, natural therapies, and holistic wellness programs. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and visionary Director of Spa & Wellness to lead the opening and ongoing success of this exceptional new addition.
Job Summary
The Director of Spa and Wellness at Whim Hospitality will oversee Folklore, our brand-new spa that features a pool, 12 treatment rooms, massage therapists, aestheticians, spa coordinators, spa attendants, pool attendants, a bar, and retail space. This strategic leadership role is responsible for creating and implementing exceptional spa and wellness experiences that promote relaxation, health, and well-being. The Director will manage day-to-day operations and lead a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing outstanding service to all guests while upholding the highest standards of service, compliance, and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the opening and operational launch of Folklore Spa, establishing and refining service standards, operating procedures, and staffing models.
- Oversee all daily spa and wellness operations including treatments, guest experience, scheduling, inventory, product lines, and facility upkeep.
- Hire, train, and inspire a team of spa professionals including massage therapists, estheticians, wellness instructors, and front desk staff.
- Curate and manage the spa’s treatment menu and wellness offerings to align with the Camp Lucy brand and clientele expectations.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.
- Monitor and analyze business performance including budgeting, revenue goals, cost control, and guest satisfaction.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to promote spa services and build awareness for Folklore Spa among resort guests and local clientele.
- Foster a wellness culture that supports both guest and employee well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in spa or wellness center management, preferably within a luxury resort or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of spa treatments, wellness programming, and holistic health trends.
- Business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-first mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in spa software platforms and POS systems is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation:
Salary: 85K-100K with opportunities to increase your earnings through exceptional service.
