Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining ware. Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils to the highest standard.
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors and countertops, are kept clean and organized.
- Waste Management: Sort and dispose of trash and recyclables according to restaurant procedures.
- Stocking: Assist in restocking kitchen supplies and organizing storage areas as needed.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dishwashing equipment and report any issues to the kitchen manager.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: Part-time position, typically 15 - 20hours per week. Shift times may vary.
- Environment: Fast-paced restaurant kitchen with potential exposure to hot surfaces and cleaning chemicals.
