Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas during peak hours.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols for proper food handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with culinary practices such as cooking, food preparation, and serving is a plus.
- Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous.
