Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, following proper food safety protocols.
- Bus tables promptly after guests leave, clearing dishes and resetting tables for the next guests.
- Support waitstaff by delivering food and beverages as required.
- Help organize and store kitchen supplies efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Clean Cafe as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- A keen attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices is a plus but not essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
