We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods.
- Utilize GPS technology to monitor vehicle locations and provide real-time updates.
- Analyze logistical data to improve operational efficiency and reduce delays.
- Manage phone systems effectively, ensuring clear communication with drivers and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and fleet performance.
- Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline logistics processes.
- Implement transportation planning strategies to enhance service quality.
- Address any issues or emergencies that arise during transit promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics or dispatching roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) .
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is advantageous.
