With over 30 years of history, a large warehouse facility in Pasco, WA, and a growing team, we pride ourselves on operational excellence, responsiveness, and long-term partnerships. Due to our recent explosive growth, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to oversee financial management functions and day-to-day office operations. This is a critical role in supporting our continued growth and efficiency.
Position Summary:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations including inventory purchasing and accounting, customer billing and accounts receivable, payroll and human resources and leading a team of seven administrative employees. This role will also be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed. Ideal candidates are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer order and billing operations, including supervision of administrative support staff, and optimizing workflows.
- Responsible for all general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate account balances.
- Close and prepare month-end financial statements and analysis.
- Manage all HR functions including on-boarding, healthcare benefits, and payroll.
- Provide leadership to manage and control expenses wherever possible throughout the organization.
- Supervise and maintain control over the administration of certain back-office sales related activities including sales rep commissions, contract inventory commissions, and travel and entertainment expenditures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with inventory management experience a plus.
- 5+ years of Controller-level experience serving companies with at least 50 employees, and reporting directly to senior-level operating management (i.e. CFO/CEO).
- Direct responsibility for Human Resource management including responsibility for execution of 3rd party payroll processing.
- Experience in the warehouse and supply chain management industry.
- Netsuite ERP experience or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
