Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle while adhering to all regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer, ensuring the safe transport of freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing pallet jack equipment when required.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on assigned routes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route driving logistics.
