Job Summary
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Director coordinate projects, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Oversee HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and installations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics, work orders, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical operations.
- Experience with project management principles and practices.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to industrial equipment.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to think critically under pressure. This role is vital for maintaining the operational integrity of our facility while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency among the maintenance team.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
