Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher & Painter to join our remodeling team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in drywall repairs, finishing, painting and related remodeling construction tasks. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other remodeling professionals on our team on various residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply tape, mud, and other materials to drywall seams to create a smooth finish.
- Sand and polish finished surfaces to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
- Perform repairs on water-damaged drywall and ensure proper restoration techniques are used.
- Control dust in homeowner's home. Clean up.
- Collaborate with team members on job sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and hang doors as part of the finishing process.
- Use tall ladders as necessary
- Help the remodeling team with demolition and other general tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites

Skills
- Pleasant and positive Customer interaction
- Familiarity with remodeling job site protocols
- High level of workmanship quality
- Knowledge of plaster application methods and techniques.
- Ability to lay tile accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in construction and remodeling including fixture installation and trim carpentry.
- Experience with door hanging processes is advantageous.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
