DYAD Consultant (Independent Contractor)

Position Overview:
Third Future Schools is seeking dynamic and passionate DYAD Consultants to join our innovative team for the 2025–2026 school year. As a DYAD Consultant, you will deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in a specialized subject area of your expertise to students in grades 6 through 8. This is a contract position ideal for professionals with a unique skillset or passion area—whether in arts, STEM, fitness, trades, or beyond—who want to make a lasting impact in education.
Schedule & Availability:
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Contract Dates: August 4th, 2025 - May 29th, 2026
- Class Length: 90-minute blocks
- Times Available:
- TBD
- Afterschool opportunities available from 4:00 – 5:00 PM
- Consultants may select all or specific time slots based on availability.
Compensation & Terms:
- Rate: $30.00 per hour
- Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Payment: Monthly
Responsibilities:
As a DYAD Consultant, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, skill-based lessons aligned with your subject matter expertise
- Inspire students with your knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm
- Model professional behavior and the Habits of Success promoted by Third Future Schools
- Collaborate with staff to evaluate student progress and assign pass/fail grades
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment
- Communicate with families to support student engagement and success
- Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and attention to detail in all responsibilities
