JOB SUMMARY
This job will handle a variety of different tasks, such as online orders, samples, case-ready program and manage inventory of department products and supplies. Time management and attention to detail ensure that online e-commerce orders as well as samples are filled completely in a timely manner as noted on the orders. This individual is expected to work closely with various departments using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This job will handle a variety of different tasks, such as online orders, samples, case-ready program and manage inventory of department products and supplies. Time management and attention to detail ensure that online e-commerce orders as well as samples are filled completely in a timely manner as noted on the orders. This individual is expected to work closely with various departments using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up for production area for packing daily (get dry ice, ice packs, clear out cooler, etc.)
- Print packing slips & UPS labels for each individual shipment.
- Pack shipments. Attention to detail is very important in ensuring that products being packed meet quality standards and that the correct item and quantity are shipped out to end-user customers.
- Organize shipments by delivery method (FedEx Ground or Express) and help with loading packages at pick-up time.
- Conduct and maintain accurate inventory of product coolers and supplies
- Keep/Organize freezer
- Defrost chillers
- Pull samples and weigh product in/scan, pack according to shipping method
- Scanning product in and out of the inventory system and locating to proper area
- Monitoring, Documenting and Communication of the Plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to assure that they are properly implemented.
- Serve as the final QA check before items leave our building for delivery to customers.
- Knowledge of beef and pork items is helpful but not required.
- Additional job duties as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift 0 – 80+lbs; Able to work in hot and cold environments; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
