Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires passion, creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
- Piano teacher for ages 3.5 to 6 needed/ Ukulele teacher for ages 6 - 8 also needed
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the child's growth and development.
- Incorporate various teaching methods including play-based learning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong singing voice
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management are essential.
- Ability to engage children through creative activities such as dance or arts and crafts is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about music making withfamilies and is seeking a really fun part time job.
