Description
SpeechCom Inc. is hiring a full-time, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, with a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction License for the 2025-26 school year.
Rate of Pay: $29 - $35 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-Time
Details:
- Caseload includes students ages 3-4 years of age.
- Will work with other service providers.
- Must have a Wisconsin DPI license or license pending.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students
- Develop individualized academic goals
- Utilize learning technology and assistive devices to enhance student learning
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for students
- Use effective behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive social skills
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Experience working with students with special needs in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special education needs
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development for diverse learners
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
