Covenant Private School is looking for a qualified Elementary School Science Teacher who is fully bilingual, creative, dynamic, passionate, and patient, but also has a calmness that allows you to develop relationships with students and faculty that are both close and meaningful. You will be expected to create an environment that is supportive, fun, and challenging for everyone but also encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving. You will be expected to have strong communication skills with our team as well as our students.
Responsibilities
- Develop a careful and creative teaching style based on the individualized course plan of the student.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (lecture, seminar, workshop etc.)to teach students.
- Observe students progress and provide feedback to their performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, parents-in-law etc. to build a strong team environment.
- Maintain a clean classroom and order in accordance with the school’s policy.
- Observe students progress and report it to parents.
- Communicate with parents regularly about their children’s performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents etc. to create a learning community.
Skills
- Proven experience as a teacher
- Excellent knowledge of classroom management
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between students
- Cool-tempered, friendly, friendly personality
