Job Description – Project Designer:
The project designer is responsible for communicating with salesmen, engineers, and architects to produce and maintain technical job requirements and details.
What You Will Do:
- Communicate with sales to produce job requirements
- Produce solid models, blueprints, and shop tickets based on job requirements
- Produce and maintain bill of material lists
- Communicate with professional engineers to get job plans approved and stamped
- Communicate with factory workers to manufacture products
What We Are Looking For
- Associate’s degree in engineering, drafting, CAD, or other applicable degree program
- Someone hardworking, detail oriented, and precise
- Proficiency in reading and making engineering prints
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong technical communication skills (written, visual, and verbal)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Certifications in AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering
- Experience in design, manufacturing, or engineering
- Experience in precast concrete
- Experience in coding (python or visual basic)
Compensation:
- Position Type: Salaried
- Salary Range: 40k – 80k
- 2 weeks PTO
