PDHengineer.com is looking for qualified engineers to present webinars and write courses for our online continuing education platform. THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION THAT CAN BE PERFORMED FROM YOUR OWN HOME OR OFFICE.
This is a part-time position as an independent contractor. There is no minimum time commitment.
WEBINAR INSTRUCTOR
Presenting webinars is a great way to develop a substantial side revenue stream without a large investment of time. Share your knowledge in a lively discussion-based format from the comfort of your own home or office.
The video component of the webinar is distributed over the internet using a PowerPoint presentation. Audio is delivered to webinar participants using either a phone line or their computer’s built-in audio. You simply make the live presentation just as if you were in front of the audience. The webinar attendees can ask questions and interact with you at all times.
We offer flexible scheduling of webinars to fit your calendar.
You are responsible for creating the PowerPoint slides for your presentation. You will be paid $125/hour for every hour of live instruction you provide during the webinars.
Additionally, if you wish, your presentations can be recorded and published on our website to serve as the content for self-study courses. You will be paid a royalty each time your self-study course is purchased by one of our customers. (See the description below for COURSE AUTHOR.)
COURSE AUTHOR
Write course(s) in Microsoft Word format (or record videos) at your own pace and email them to us. Then sit back and earn royalties while we do all the work. Our team will handle the formatting and publication of your courses. You earn a royalty payment on every sale generated by your courses.
These are self-study courses. You are not required to teach in front of a live audience. After submitting a course for publication on our website, your work is done.
After your course is published, it is available online for engineers to purchase and complete. You continue to earn royalties from your courses year after year – without having to do any additional work.
AS A COURSE AUTHOR, THERE IS NO GUARANTEED AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION. You will receive compensation only when your courses are purchased by our customers.
Although there’s no guaranteed amount of compensation, some of our most prolific course authors collect more than $50,000 in royalty payments every year without doing any additional work. Their recurring income is realized solely from courses they created years ago.
Skills/Experience:
Must be highly knowledgeable and experienced on the topic of your course or webinar presentation.
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university and a minimum of 7 years’ experience practicing as an engineer post-graduation (Registered Professional Engineers are strongly preferred)

There are no employment benefits associated with this position.
There is no set work schedule associated with this position. As a course author, you can work at your own pace. As a webinar instructor, we’ll work with you to schedule your webinars on dates/times that are amenable to you.
