This is an entry level position that offers wide exposure to design, manufacturing and project management of custom millwork and furniture projects. On a daily basis we are working on all kinds of custom builds from conference tables to receptions desks to cabinets to display stands and everything in between. You will be working with clients, suppliers and our in-house cabinet makers to bring custom furniture pieces to life. This is a great opportunity to establish your career. You will have the chance to build on your existing skills and develop new ones too. There is a lot to be done so if you are looking for an exciting challenge this is the place for you.
We are looking for someone that has a strong interest in furniture building and also a friendly easy-going personality that can quickly establish rapport with our in-house team and our clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project shop drawings.
- Project manage work progress.
- Work closely with project teams.
- Review architectural drawings, and specifications
- Perform accurate material and labor takeoffs for custom casework
Skills
- AutoCAD, SketchUp or other design programs.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Excel.
- BS degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Manufacturing/Interior Design/Architecture/Industrial Design or similar.
