Arrow Tank and Engineering Co. is currently looking for an Estimator to join our team! Arrow Tank is a metal fabricator that specializes in ASME pressure vessels and other metal fabricated equipment. We are looking for candidates with a background in the metal fabrication and welding industries or similar field. Experience in the pricing of pressure vessels, welded construction and highly regulated fields is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position where you will work alongside our estimating and engineering departments to develop estimates following the requirements of customer requests.
Duties:
- Review customer specifications and drawings
- Develop a bill of material with guidance from engineering staff.
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors behalf of the company to obtain competitive pricing and scheduling.
- Evaluate labor requirements and estimate production costs
Requirements:
- Computer experience including Microsoft word and Excel.
- Have a basic knowledge of trigonometry and other math skills.
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Has a good work ethic
- Complete time sensitive-tasks in an efficient manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
