Castle Boo Entertainment Complex in Thomasville is a multiplex entertainment monster. We are equipped for concerts/events for up to 1,400 people in our music yard alone. We also have the Carolina's biggest haunted house, escape rooms, VR Room, a wedding chapel, an arcade, a karaoke room, a full bar & restaurant, and other modern amenities.
Summary
We are seeking an Event Coordinator to join our team at Castle Boo for a contract role. This role will be pivotal in planning and executing events that showcase our services and engage with our community. The ideal candidate will have a passion and experience for event procurement and management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events from conception through execution.
- Manage logistics for events including venue selection, catering, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events and increase community engagement.
- Oversee event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service during events to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best rates and services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or management.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is a plus.
