FUN, EXCITING WORKING ENVIRONMENT!!! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office Assistant (EFDA) to join our Pediatric Dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various dental software systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist Doctor with Pediatric patients.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using Curve Dental.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support chairside assisting during procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, conducting medical imaging, and assisting with X-ray procedures.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in areas such as general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
- Proficiency in using Curve Dental is a plus.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures is required.
- Experience with 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is desirable.
