ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in collecting and organizing data from various sources, including databases, file shares, and external data sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness for analysis.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new data collection and analysis methodologies to improve the quality and efficiency of data-driven decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and forecasts.
- Support budgeting and long-range planning processes with financial modeling.
- Work with large datasets to uncover trends, variances, and business insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Write SQL queries or use Power Query to extract and transform datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, business development) to support strategic initiatives.
- Help improve existing financial processes and reporting workflows.
- Aid with ad hoc projects as necessary.

Desirable skills and requirements:
The ideal candidate has the following background and experience:
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date is between July 2026 and July 2027.
- Strong interest in a career in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A.
- Exposure to or coursework in Power BI, SQL, or data analytics tools is a plus.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
- Understand and be able to communicate data into actionable goals.
- Comfortable with presenting data and information to others, sometimes non-technical audiences.
- Versatility in focus and coordination with other team members.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Familiarity with relational databases or data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Previous internship or project experience in a financial or data role.

Travel Requirements
- Periodic business travel may occur (estimated at approximately 5% percent), though frequency of travel could fluctuate from period to period based on growth and acquisition initiatives.
Work Environment
- This position will be remote. If business travel is required, work may be in a manufacturing plant environment in which Personal Protective Equipment must be worn.
