We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expeditor/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Expeditor/Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. Duties
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to facilitate smooth operations.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Support banquet services by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown of events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
