We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Expeditor to ensure timely and accurate processing, tracking, and fulfillment of customer or production orders. This role plays a key part in coordinating between purchasing, production, and shipping teams to eliminate delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor order status and proactively follow up on pending, delayed, or urgent orders.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, or production teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Expedite backordered or slow-moving items and resolve shipping or production issues.
- Update internal tracking systems
- Collaborate with inventory control to verify stock levels and forecast
- Ensure documentation accuracy for all outgoing and incoming shipments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
