Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality food service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system, such as OpenTable.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with meals and service.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems like OpenTable is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding guest services are essential.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to serving guests.
