We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and experienced Unarmed Security Guards to join our team. Candidates must possess an active Nevada PILB Guard Card and have a strong background in maintaining safety and security in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate activity.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property (foot and/or vehicle-based).
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access points as needed.
- Report any suspicious behavior, incidents, or safety hazards promptly and accurately.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete detailed, and accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Enforce property rules and regulations in a respectful and professional manner.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members, supervisors, and clients.
Requirements:
- Active Nevada PILB Guard Card – Required
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Must be professional in appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
- Must have the ability to take a hands-on approach in detention settings, including managing detainee interactions, maintaining control during incidents, and ensuring facility security.
- We are a zero-tolerance employer committed to safety, requiring pre-employment and random drug testing. Applicants must be able to pass all screenings to be considered for employment.
Preferred Qualities:
- Prior experience in residential, retail, or construction site security.
- Experience with incident reporting software or systems.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time shifts available. Days, nights, and weekends may be required depending on site needs.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and site assignment. Pay details will be discussed during the interview process.
