We are a 5 doctor, full service veterinary hospital in Midlothian, TX. We offer digital radiology, in-house diagnositics, ultrasound, boarding, and grooming. We are very team oriented and value our employees in order to create a family-like, positive work environment. Cornerstone and Idexx experience is a plus. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be essential in providing high-quality care for animals in a clinical setting. Qualifications
- Veterinary technician experience
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Proficient in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization
- Experience with pet care and dog handling
- Familiarity with dental terminology and animal husbandry
- Ability to work in a kennel environment and provide veterinary critical care
- Relevant skills in dog training, pet grooming, and X-Ray procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being during examinations and treatments.
- Assist veterinarians in medical procedures, including animal catheterization and restraint.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and assist in dental procedures.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and training techniques.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility and equipment.
