We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with in-depth knowledge of Workers' Compensation Law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex casework from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of Workers' Compensation cases
- Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and discovery responses
- Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, and medical examinations
- Maintain calendars and deadlines for case-related events
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal in Workers' Compensation Law
- Strong understanding of relevant legal procedures and terminology
- Proficient in legal research and case management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is preferred
