Job Title: Family Development Coach
Reports to: Director of Operations
Position Summary: BCCP is seeking a Family Development Coach (FDC) to manage the day-to-day operations of its DYCD-funded NDA program, which supports high school students in achieving academic success, preparing for college or advanced training, building leadership, and developing conflict resolution skills. The FDC will build partnerships with local organizations to design and implement a paid internship program for 35 students, collaborate with school administration to address academic needs, and provide assessments, case management, and targeted interventions.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Implement a paid internship program for high school students by building partnerships with local organizations through community outreach and placing interns in meaningful work opportunities
· Together with the teaching artist, lead weekly group workshops that support youth academic growth, social emotional well-being, community engagement, college prep, and career planning
· Meet one-on-one with participants every month to develop a service plan, set academic and career goals, and plan referral services to meet the needs of youth and families
· Ensure enrolled participants are provided with a paid internship, if they need one
· Collect and review student report cards to track academic progress, conduct initial assessments, and evaluate program outcomes
· Enter program data in DYCD Connect and monitor the system to ensure timely compliance with grant requirements
· Coordinate with supervisor to implement relevant activities, services, and seek resources that enhance program offerings
· Ensure a welcoming and inclusive program environment and that all program goals, student outcomes and needs are met
· Attend DYCD workshops, agency meetings, and school-based events (i.e. parent-teacher conferences, etc.)
· Collaborate with school admin to organize college readiness and FAFSA workshops for participants and their families
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience managing DYCD-funded programs and supporting youth in after-school programs serving under-resourced communities
· Strong leadership and organizational skills
· Significant interest in youth development, non-traditional education, not-for-profit, and community engagement
· Self-starter, take initiatives, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Family Development Credential must be obtained within 12 months (information will be provided)
Work Schedule
· Monday-Friday 10 AM to 6 PM
· Flexible remote work option on Fridays
Salary and Benefits:
· $47-$52,000 per year

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
