Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farming, animal care, and equipment maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and productivity of crops and livestock.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and feeding of animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and forklifts, to perform various tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Participate in planting, growing, and harvesting crops while adhering to best agricultural practices.
- Implement irrigation systems effectively to promote healthy crop growth.
- Supervise other farm workers as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including barns, greenhouses, and storage facilities.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during planting, harvesting, or equipment maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in farming or agriculture-related roles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry practices and animal handling techniques.
- Experience with horticulture or greenhouse operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating feed ratios or crop yields.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is beneficial.
- Previous experience with welding or equipment repair is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
