Charlotte Fire Protection is looking for a Manager / Lead Fire Suppression Technician — someone who’s earned their stripes and is ready for more. If you’ve ever said, “I could run this company better,” we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead suppression system inspections, installations, and repairs for commercial kitchens
- Mentor and train junior techs (yes, you will be managing teams)
- Communicate directly with customers and management — your input matters here
- Coordinate with scheduling and sales for smoother workflows
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 17A, 96, and 10, plus local codes
What You Bring:
- Your written plans to Manage and Pay technicians - the way you think is best
- 5+ years in commercial kitchen fire suppression (Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Kidde, etc.)
- South Carolina certification up to date
- Clean driving record and valid license
- Strong leadership instincts — or even better, some crew lead experience
- The ability to think on your feet (and maybe even in a kitchen after a suppression dump)
