Position Overview
The Role
- Services customers by acquiring financial solutions, obtaining rates, and corresponding with banks regarding loans and other financial matters related to the purchase of the vehicle.
- Provides customers with a thorough overview of aftermarket products, extended vehicle service contracts, manufacturer and dealership services, and finance procedures and policies. The F&I Producer collaborates with customers to create a potential referral source.
- Obtains credit decisions, proposes deals to lenders for approval and assists with the sales process. The F&I Producer submits finance and lease transactions accurately and ensures 100% compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintains excellent working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs with lending institutions. The F&I Producer assures expeditious funding of all contracts.
- Sets and achieves targeted sales objectives. The F&I Producer ensures deals are structured to achieve the highest profitability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in automotive sales
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Intimate knowledge of the automotive industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive attitude
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi task
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable drivers abstract
- Other duties as assigned.
