We are seeking dependable Fire Watch Technicians and Team Leaders to provide 24/7 fire watch coverage for our client at a solar panel manufacturing construction site in White, GA. This is a precautionary safety assignment due to inactive sprinkler systems during HVAC installation. Ideal candidates will have previous fire watch experience and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
Job Details
Hourly Rate:
$20-$25/hr (based on role and experience)
Completion Bonus: $150/Month
Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
7 days per week | 8-hour shifts (1-hour lunch) | 56 hours/week
Shift 1: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (3 Fire Watchers + 1 Team Leader)
Shift 2: 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM (3 Fire Watchers + 1 Team Leader)
Project Scope
Personnel will oversee fire watch activities for electrical and mechanical contractors during the construction of a solar panel manufacturing facility. Due to ceiling-mounted HVAC installations, the sprinkler system will be temporarily shut down, requiring continuous fire monitoring as a preventative safety measure (note: this is not a hot work assignment).
Qualifications
Previous fire watch experience in construction or industrial environments
Strong situational awareness and reliability in passive safety roles
Effective communication and accountability
Team Leaders must have proven leadership experience in safety or fire watch supervision
Key Responsibilities
Monitor designated areas for potential fire hazards
Maintain an active, visible presence throughout the shift
Notify site personnel or emergency responders if a fire risk is detected
Prevent unauthorized activities within monitored zones
Accurately complete daily logs and activity reports
