Position Summary:
As an Employment Coach, you would be filling in at various businesses in the community to provide support to the individuals working. The day consists of transporting the individuals to and from their jobs and supporting them to ensure the tasks are completed. You will provide coaching as needed to maximize their independence while enjoying the opportunity to get to know the individuals and businesses that employ them.
As a Life Enrichment Associate, you would be working with the individuals who participate in non-employment-based services. At Epic, we have a fantastic art and music program, provide various leisure opportunities and volunteer at multiple locations daily. Our services are based on individual interests and desires.

You'll need excellent communication and effective problem-solving abilities to navigate the diverse needs of our clients, each requiring varying levels of support.
- Flexible weekend availability is essential. While full 8-hour shifts are uncommon, weekend work is crucial to support the individualized needs of our clients. As an Employment Coach, you'll
be responsible for transporting clients to and from their weekend jobs and providing on-site support throughout their shifts, which typically range from 2-6 hours. Weekend assignments are determined by each client's unique job and support requirements, meaning your schedule will vary. Your flexibility is key to ensuring our clients receive the personalized assistance they need to succeed!
Requirements:
You must be able to comply with and pass the Department of Human Services (DHS) background check which may include fingerprinting, have a valid driver's license, and pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Benefit package after two full months of full-time employment to include medical (employee contribution), dental, vision, 401K plan, Short-term disability, Long-term disability, Group Life Insurance, and other elective coverages. Personal Time Off and eight paid holidays.
- Nonexempt, $17.00-$18.00 per hour based upon education and experience.
Hours will vary between 6:45 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday- Sunday based upon coverage needs.
Average hours per week are 32-36.
