Position Overview
Ocotillo Flooring Services is hiring an in-home sales representative that will measure and quote installation "labor only" estimates. The sales representative will work with Floor and Décor who sells all material for all jobs the representative sells. Again, the quotes provided are labor ONLY estimates. All material will be purchased through Floor and Décor.
- Receive qualified leads from Floor and Décor via Lead Generator
- Go to daily scheduled appointments
- Utilize your design and sales expertise during the appointment
- Close the sale
- Ocotillo Flooring provides direct support for ordering, client services, and installation
Design Abilities
- Ability to visualize a finished project and convey the outcome to the client
- Ability to provide exceptional design services within a client's defined budget
Position Requirements and Experience
- Flooring measuring skills required
- Knowledge of flooring installation required
- Knowledge of shower installation required
- A detailed knowledge of floor covering and the installation process required
- Must possess strong residential sales experience
- Must be self motivated, goal oriented and possess a strong desire to excel in a challenging and competitive environment
- Must understand the concepts to sell our installation labor services
- Ability to represent Floor and Décor and their expectations
- Ability to build a strong client base to generate additional leads
- Must possess basic computing skills including Word, and Email usage.
Client Service and Relationship Management
- Willing to overcome obstacles and provide outstanding client services
- Exemplifies professional standards in appearance, communication and delivery from the first impression
- Collaborates with internal departments and installers to manage client relationships and results
- Leaves positive and lasting impressions with continued follow up after the installation is complete
- Possesses strong organizational skills to contact leads, schedule appointments and complete client orders
Compensation and Working Conditions
- Flexible compensation based on experience
- Commission
- Travel between client homes and partner retailer locations
Job Types: Contract 1099 or Full-time EMPLOYEE
Pay: STARTING SALARY/HOURLY PLUS COMMISSION LEADING TO 100% COMMISSION
