Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and related carpentry work. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring types, including tile, laminate, and hardwood, while adhering to safety standards and best practices.
Duties
- Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, laminate, hardwood, lvp, and carpet.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to ensure a polished finish around edges and corners.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for precise installation.
- Install fixtures as needed to complement flooring installations.
- Lay tiles accurately, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Participate in water damage restoration projects when necessary.
- Assist with remodeling tasks that involve flooring changes or upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in flooring installation or related carpentry work.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in the industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project demands.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
