FLOORING PRODUCTS SPECIALIST

Summary
We are currently seeking a Flooring Products Specialist with excellent organization skills, a personable disposition, and the ability to engage and train others. The ideal candidate will work with Acme Brick associates, vendors, manufacturers, and customers regarding flooring products. You will be a strong and reliable support to our company’s flooring operations, maintaining product training and communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position.
· Assist Acme Brick associates in flooring products training.
· Assist Acme Brick locations with proper product displays and marketing support to grow their flooring business.
· Understand market and competitive products to identify threats and opportunities and adapts strategy & changing conditions.
· Attend and represents the company at trade association shows & meetings to better secure and promote products.
· Prepares periodic reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and proposed customer expansion.
· Works with location showrooms to recommend and initiate changes that will increase sales and profits.
Skills and Experience Required for Success
· 2+ years of related experience.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (JDE experience preferred)
· Must have a reliable means of transportation.
· Up to 50% travel within the Acme Brick footprint

Education
· College degree or some college preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
